I just found your web page with the great old photos of Doc Scurlock and family.  I am doing research for the Scurlock Family in Illinois (my Grandmother was Goldie Martha Scurlock who hailed from Weston, Illinois.)  The Scurlocks in Illinois are very distantly related to the Texas Scurlocks but there is a connection if we go back far enough.  I was unable to attend the "Doc Scurlock" Days in Eastland Texas earlier this year but am still interested in accumulating stories and photos of that side of the family.  Is there a way you could send the collection of photos of Doc and his family on e-mail as attachments?    They might turn out better that the reproduced copies available on ancestry.com.     I have been in touch with Mica Dansi and she has sent me some information also.   My genealogy books for the Scurlock family are not nearly complete but I'm working hard on them.  Please let me know how I can help you.  I also have a CD of Harold Scurlock's research - he's been researching the Scurlock family for some 10 years and is retired now and living in Florida. Do you have that?  Anything you can do would be helpful.

Hello,
My mom just found your website and asked me to write to you and thank you for posting your family tree as it is also my mom's family.  She is a decendent of Jacinto del Inigo Lopez Sanchez on her mom's side (Stella Sanchez Madrid) and has done a little research herself.  My mom is from Firebough CA so it is hard to find information in the form of records because her ancestors are from New Mexico and we are quite a distance away.
Thanks,
Sara Espinosa

Dear Michael,
I am so sorry it took me so long to respond to your most appreciated letter.  I really enjoyed the pictures you sent me.
I have been very ill since November now I can sit up and think a little better.
With your permission I would like to post this info and great pictures on my website.  It might help other family looking for relatives
Let me know and Thanks so much..  I think there is a picture of Petra, if it is the same one when she was little. I'll check on it and let you know more.  Thanks for your patience and May God Bless.

Hi Theresa, ( I like your web site ) My name is Richard Eugene Salsberry.

I will list these siblings from oldest, to the youngest, starting with oldest, or first born first, to the youngest last.

1. Louisa Salsberry Sanchez ( Born: 1927. ) ( Passed away: ? )

P.S. My Grandfather: Augustin Herrera Salsberry, and his family migrated from Fort Stanton, New Mexico. (to) Roseville & Sacramento, California. (in) "1947"
Anyway, I would like to say what a wonderful job you have done, researching all the family.

"Thank-You"
