Hello Robert,
I was very glad to hear from you!  I have been very ill since November and haven't been able to think or sit at the computer very long.  I am improving a lot Thanks be to God.
I enjoyed reading your information. Send me more.
Do you have a web site? I might have seen it.  I would like to have your permission to post your info just as you send it to me on my http://tiasfamilia.com
web site. I don't knowi if you have seen it. It might help someone else I get a lot of traffic.

God Bless and Thank you.
Theresa

Hello Theresa:
Thank You for responding to my e-mail.
Please feel free to post the information which I sent you.
I don't have internet access at home yet.I do all my research from the computer in the business center here at work(I work as a hotel night auditor from eleven at night to seven in the morning)during my breaks.Fortunately for me I have several of good duration.
I was off Monday night. That is why I wasn't able to get back to you right away.
I didn't bring my vellise with my genealogy information with me to work tonight.I was running a little bit late.So I didn't have a chance to get it.I'll bring it with me tomorrow night and I will pass on more information pertaining to our mutual ancestry.
I saw that you also have Otero ancestry.I do also on my mother's side and I have an Otero connection on my dad's side.
My great-grandfather,Bernabe Blea's first wife was Margarita Chavez, daughter of Juan Chavez and Dolores Otero.
On my mom's side:
Juan Antonio de Jesus Aragon married Maria Nicolasa Otero. They were parents of Antonio and Jose Gregorio Aragon.
Antonio Aragon married Ana Maria Adelaida Chavez, daughter of Juan Chavez y Baca and Maria Trinidad Otero. They in turn were parents of Ovidio Aragon.
Jose Gregorio Aragon married Elvira Otero, daughter of Antonio Rafael Otero and Doloritas Paiz(Pais/Paez/Paes).They in turn were parents of Mercedes Aragon.
Ovidio Aragon married his first cousin,Mercedes Aragon.
Ovidio and Mercedes Aragon were parents of Tonnie(Antonia)Aragon who married Bernie(Bernabe II)Blea who in turn were my parents.
My mom's Aragon and my dad's Aragon are eventually the same line. They connect at Juan Antonio de la Cruz Aragon and his wife Maria Lorenza Baca.
Juan Antonio de la Cruz Aragon and Maria Lorenza Baca were parents of Juan Antonio de Jesus Aragon and Maria Francisca de la Luz Aragon.
Juan Antonio de Jesus Aragon married Maria Nicolasa Otero(see above). This is my mom's Aragon line.
Maria Francisca de la Luz Aragon married Buenaventura Toledo, son of Pablo Vicente Antonio Toledo and Maria Josefa Padilla(see my previous e-mail).This is my dad's Aragon line.
I have the Aragon line traced back quite a few more generations.Let me know if you would like this information.
That's all I have for now,Theresa, except that all New Mexico Oteros are descended from Pedro Jose Otero Duran y Chavez who was an illegitimate son of an Otero and a Duran y Chavez. When he registered for marriage he registered as Otero dropping the Duran y Chavez. So also, all Oteros and Chavezes are related. They are all descendants of Fernando Duran y Chavez I who was the progenitor of the Chavez clan of New Mexico.
He was son of Pedro Gomez Duran y Chavez.
More tomorrow night.
Please keep in touch.
I hope that you get to feeling better very soon.
God Bless and take care.
Robert

Dear Ms. Teresa Mata-Holdridge,
Hi I just finished viewing your tia website and I am so excited! It was quite a thrill to read and see all about my family ancestry! You have done quite an extensive and quite informative project! I can see that many people have been touched and blessed by all your hard work! Thank you so much for sharing and letting me and my family learn more about our heritage.
I have tried for a long time on the internet to locate relatives but it has not fruitful, although I have not tried the subscription purchase to Genealogy etc.
Well, I should introduce myself...
My name is Yvette Gonzales Enriquez. My Dad's name was Robert or Roberto Gonzales and his family is from the Hondo Valley, and we were all born in Ruidoso but raised in Tularosa NM. Like you we also share fond memories of traveling to the valley and visiting, eating all the wonderful fresh fruit and vegetables!
You and I are connected via the Sanchez Genealogy II, My Dad's
Grandfather was Epimaninondas Gonzales and Grandmother Elbira Gonzales. My Dads great grandmother was Reymunda Sanchez, who married Florencio Gonzales. This is what I gathered from the family tree information But I am not 100% sure, I can't tell if Florencio was EP's Dad of if there was another grandfather between Florencio & Reymunda and EP.
I was hoping you could help with burning question.
I would love to work on this and maybe fill in information that I have via my cousing who lives in the Valley and also has been collecting family history.
Please respond at your earliest convenience.
Thank you ever so much and God Bless !

Dear
Yvette Enriquez
I hope I can help you, I've never met anyone in your line so I am also very excited!
I'm sure we can make a tree for you.
I'll need a date of birth for your father Roberto, then we can go from there.  Make a list of his brothers and sisters.  Then get their dates and places of birth.

Then a list of your brothers and sisters, dates and place of birth.

God Bless you too! I hope to hear from you again. Theresa.

Hi Teresa
Oh my goodness! Thanks so much for your quick response and information! I am so thrilled and this has brought me to tears I have to admit! For since I was a little girl I always felt a void when it comes to my Dads family. Just not knowing all the people or pieces of that part of my Dad's and my life! Absolutely amazing! The emotional part makes me feel so close to my Dad and relate to him and understand him better as an adult. He passed away in 1989 and i was only 23 years old at that time.

I am sending you a picture of Florencio and Reymunda, feel free to post it on your website if you wish. I just took it last month at my Tia Eva's house in San Patricio, it is a picture of a picture..I have others but don;t have the names yet...I tried to find out as much as possible from them about the family but your information has really helped!

I also have to clarify, I am puzzled by the (2) EP's or Epaminondas' (his nick name was EP). On your Tias page the birth and death date are not coinciding with the correct Papa EP information the one that is my grt gpa and was married to Elbira..that one has the other EP information. That's one thing I canhelp you with. Also on that page listing the children of Florencio and Reymunda the other EP is not listed... (?) I never had heard of another EP, but I did see it on the cemetary web site...Do you have any clues?

Ah, ha as I am reading the dates again and again, it looks EP had a son also name EP except with Elbira Gonzales maiden name, Gonzales as a middle name....
OH and that explains the other Florencio, he is listed on the Tia site as a child of Reymunda and Florencio also but he is probably the child of EP and Elbira because of the DOB, He was born in 1907 and Florencio died in 1897....OK here we go! Once I get all of EP' and Elbira childrens names then it will make sense, I HOPE!!
Thanks for your patience too!!
Feel free to call me by phone if you would like, I would love to talk with you and might save typing!! I am free during the day everyday.
